Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
LORVA is a brand built on the idea that a home should adapt to the person living in it. That belief applies to our website too. We want everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology — to be able to browse our products, understand what they're buying, and complete an order.
We are actively working to make LORVA.com easier to use for everyone, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box to check.
The standard we work toward
We are working to bring LORVA.com into conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. WCAG is the international reference standard for digital accessibility and is organized around four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our internal benchmark and review our site against it as we build and update pages.
Where we are today
We want to be straightforward about this rather than claim more than we can support.
LORVA.com is a new site, and we are in an active phase of accessibility review and remediation. Some areas of the site currently conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and others do not yet. We are aware of specific gaps, we are working through them, and we expect the site to improve steadily over the coming months.
Areas we are currently working on include:
-
Adding descriptive alternative text to all meaningful images and product photography
-
Providing accessible names and, where appropriate, captions or text alternatives for video content
-
Improving how pricing and product options are announced to screen readers
-
Reviewing color contrast across text, buttons, and overlays
-
Confirming that all interactive elements — menus, accordions, carousels, quantity selectors, product configurators, and the cart — are fully operable by keyboard and clearly indicate focus
-
Reviewing form labels, error messages, and validation feedback at checkout and on our email signup
-
Testing with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation across desktop and mobile
Ongoing measures
To support this work, we:
-
Consider accessibility when designing and building new pages, templates, and product experiences
-
Review new content and assets for accessibility before publishing
-
Test our site with keyboard navigation and assistive technology
-
Treat accessibility feedback from customers as a priority input, not a support ticket to close
Known limitations
We want to flag two things honestly.
Third-party content. Parts of our site rely on services we don't control, including our e-commerce platform, payment and accelerated-checkout providers, embedded video, email signup forms, reviews, and analytics tools. We choose partners with accessibility in mind and raise issues with them when we find them, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or functionality those third parties provide.
Older content. Some older blog posts, images, or downloadable files may not yet meet our current standard. We are working through these and will prioritize any specific item you tell us is causing a problem.
If something isn't working, tell us — and we'll help you directly
If you run into a barrier anywhere on LORVA.com, we want to hear about it, and we don't want the barrier to stop you from getting what you needed.

It helps us if you can include the page address, a description of what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using — but please don't feel you need any of that to reach out. A short message is fine.
We aim to respond within 3 to 5 business days.
We will also help you complete your purchase or get the information you need by phone or email, including describing products, confirming dimensions and colorways, explaining configuration options, and placing an order on your behalf. If any part of our site is getting in your way, this option is always available to you and it carries no extra cost.
Feedback shapes what we fix next
Customer reports are the most useful accessibility input we get, and they move to the front of the queue. If you tell us something is broken, we will look at it, tell you what we find, and let you know when it's fixed.
Formal complaints
If you have contacted us about an accessibility barrier and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to Fiona, Head of Customer Experience at care@lorva.com. We take unresolved accessibility concerns seriously and will review them directly.
Updates to this statement
We will update this statement as our site changes and as our accessibility work progresses, and we will revise the "Last Updated" date above when we do.
